Upcoming dates for your diary:   

 

Friday 8th December - Christmas Fayre (children can wear their Christmas jumper/party/mufti clothes)

The children have been busy creating presents at school to sell at the Fayre, and we hope you will join us in supporting their efforts. Kindly spread the word among your family and friends to ensure the success of this event. Remember, all proceeds will be reinvested in our children’s school experience.

You are welcome to collect your child from their classroom anytime from 1:30pm onwards and take them directly to the hall for the Christmas Fayre. Please ensure that you sign your child out of their class when you collect them. We hope this arrangement will allow you to have more time and space to explore the Fayre. On the day of the Fayre, children are invited to wear party clothes to make the event even more special for them.

Friday 15th December - school finishes at 12 midday (End of term)

Thursday 4th January - Back to school for the children

Notes to Know This Week: 

Please can all children come to school in their PE kits on their PE days: Wednesday and Thursday

Homework will be set every Friday and must be handed in by the following Wednesday

Homework Tasks: 

1, Atom Learning

You have received your login details to Atom Prime Learning on Thursday 14^th September (if you were absent we will make sure you get your login details on your return).

When you log in, you will find a Baseline Assessment has been assigned in your ‘To-Do List’. Please note, this assessment is only there to facilitate an initial academic profile in terms of strengths and areas for development; it is low stakes and should be completed independently whenever you have sufficient time. Please let us know if you have any queries (make sure you parents/siblings do not support you during your baseline assessment).

This week you have been assigned the following homework on Atom Learning (www.atomlearning.com):

Maths - estimating

English - apostrophes

Science - states of matter (changing state)

 

2. Year 4's got Talent - Children can share a poem, song, dance, or any form of a short 2 minute performance to all of year 4 in class next Thursday 14th December. We look forward to seeing/hearing the talents of Year 4!

 

2. TTRS - Weekly times tables challenges will be set.
