Upcoming dates for your diary:
Friday 14th February - School closes for half-term break.
Monday 24th February - School reopens for children.
25th March - Year 3 & 4 Show at 5pm
Notes to Know This Week:
After half-term break the children will be learning about the topic, Slough, as an optional activity over the holidays, you can take the children to visit the Slough Museum on Buckingham Avenue, Slough.
Music for the show has also been uploaded on this page (scroll down) and lyrics have been sent home, please ensure that the children are practising their singing at home. Thank you.
Please can all children come to school in their PE kits on their PE days: Wednesday and Thursday

Homework will be set every Friday and must be handed in by the following Wednesday
Homework Tasks:
1, Atom Learning
You received your login details to Atom Prime Learning last year (Year 3) (if you do not have your login details please speak to your class teacher).
When you log in, you will find a Baseline Assessment has been assigned in your ‘To-Do List’. Please note, this assessment is only there to facilitate an initial academic profile in terms of strengths and areas for development; it is low stakes and should be completed independently whenever you have sufficient time. Please let us know if you have any queries (make sure you parents/siblings do not support you during your baseline assessment).

3. TTRS - a new times tables challenge has been set. You will be rewarded for speed and accuracy.
4. SUMDOG - a new competition on 'addition & subtraction' has been set which is linked to your current maths lesson objectives.

Please continue to read new fiction and non-fiction texts. Try to spend at least 20-30 minutes of reading daily.
After reading the text, please engage in a variety of discussions with your parents/siblings, focusing on different aspects. This can include:
• The characters
• The language used
• The theme of the text
• Making predictions
• Opinions and evidence to back opinions
Reading books will be changed every Monday (they have the option to change their books more frequently).
Children will visit out school library every Thursday.
