Year One Homework Page

How are we at the end of the year already!?
Thank you for all of the support you have given us through online learning and during school learning too. We have achieved a lot this year and the children should be given a lot of credit for their hard work and determination. Each and every one of them should be proud of their achievements however big or small.
Enjoy your summer, stay safe and physically and mentally healthy. Don’t forget to wave to us in September across the way.
Just a little note to wish Mrs Kang all the best in her new school, she will be missed by all. Good Luck Mrs Kang and keep in touch.
We would like the children to think and talk to you about how they have grown in Year 1.
Have they learnt new things in their lessons or topics?
Have they grown in their friendships? Are they being a better friend?
Point out that they are now 6 years old and when they started they were 5, how they have grown taller too. Some of the children’s teeth are falling out, point this out too.
There will not be a spelling test next week. Instead the children can practise reading and writing the KS1 words over the summer break. Please note that these words can be found in the Home School Diary.
Thank you for a lovely week.
